B.I.H.F (Believers In Holistic Fellowship)
B.I.H.F. is the alternative to modern day singles ministry. B.I.H.F. seeks to minister to singles and widows in every area of life including but not limited to living Holy, understanding the importance of balance, financial planning, and how to fellowship with other believers. Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry provides a spiritual support to the godly education and counsel of the children at RWOM, while simultaneously extending support to the parents in this area. Though it will progress to become more evangelistic in scope in the years to come, the Children's Church is primarily designed to service, train and inspire the children of the congregation. Our vision is to do so in a dynamic and creative fashion that will distinguish RWOM as a provider of one of the most excellent Children's Church experiences on this planet! We believe that such a program will not just benefit the families that currently attend the ministry – the advantages will extend to the community at large. This ministry is for children 0 yrs – 6yrs of age.
Covenant Couples Ministry
Covenant Couples is a ministry focused on married couples . We are dedicated to seeing marriages grow according to God's Plan, through fun, fellowship, and biblical impartation of information. For more info email us at covenantcouples@restorationwom.org
Evangelism Ministry
Our trained volunteers have accepted the charge to evangelize in the Metropolitan Washington DC…and beyond. As a ministering arm of the church, teams identify and implement needed services that will meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the community. Sponsored events are established to teach life skills and provide training for economic empowerment, physical health and spiritual growth. Liturgical Dance Ministry
The Liturgical Dance Ministry seeks to construct an atmosphere where the spirit of the Lord will meet us and dwell with us as we praise, worship and glory in His embrace.
Men's Ministry (Man2Man)
This army of mighty men are purposed to provide the following:
- Discipleship programs, including men's Bible Study groups
- Prayer groups and various other spiritual growth initiatives
- Workshops to assist men in becoming spiritually, economically, and financially empowered
- Initiatives designed to excite and empower other men to join in and work in other ministries within the church
- Bridge the generational gap between RWOM youth men by providing leadership and exhibiting discipline to serve God
Music & Fine Arts
The Music Ministry of the RWOM is a humble, excited body of believers who have answered the clarion call to Music Ministry. This group of psalmists, musicians, and worship leaders has dedicated their lives to ushering God's people beyond the veil into the presence of His Majesty. The Music Department is comprised of these entities:
- RWOC (Restoration World Outreach Chorale)
- Tribe of Judah Praise Team
- The Mime Ministry
The Deacon's Ministry
The Deacon Ministry provides general services to the congregation while supporting Elder Stephens and Co-Pastor Stephens. Its members uphold the vision of the ministry, actively partner with other church ministries, and participate in special events or functions of the church. As servants to the ministry, they also serve as armor bearers to the pastors and guests of RWOM.
The Greeters Ministry
Our Greeters' Ministry exists to provide an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance to the staff, members and guests of RWOM by extending loving gestures of God’s love through its hospitality to all who enter our doors.
Women’s Ministry (Women of Virtue)
Women of Virtue crosses economic status, education, religious, age, and racial lines to get to the hearts of women. Although we are individually different, collectively we are one in the Spirit. Woman to woman, sister-to-sister, and heart to heart, we have been led into the presence of a healing God. We are laboring together to bring fruition and wholeness to our lives and the lives of those who encounter us. WOV has blessed the ministry by providing the women of RWOM a time of enrichment in spirit through practical discussions and teachings on the application of the scriptures to our lives.
Youth Ministry (Joshua Generation)
A ‘Joshua Generation’ has been called to step up and take its rightful place in the kingdom of God! The Joshua Generation is the chosen group of children that will usher the next generation of believers into lives of obedience that lead to holiness. This ministry is for children 7 yrs – 14 yrs of age.
